This clothing manufacturer and retailer had a significant amount of Retail and Wholesale data that was available across multiple Regional Data Warehouses. This data, if aggregated and analyzed could provide significant insight on Sales & Product trends, Store Profitability and Productivity, Inventory Status at both Retail and Wholesale levels. The objective of this Sales Analytics Project was to provide access to data via a global BI environment using common tools and architecture and provide reports and dashboards to Retail and Wholesale business partners for operational and strategic analytics.
Method360 implemented a solution to create extracts from the regional data warehouses using a Global Data Model. The Method360 team worked to identify common business elements to reduce redundancy, create a global enterprise data model that could be layered on a common BI architecture across the globe and build common extracts based on the global data model not on regional sources.
